Summary
Prohibiting the dispensing of prescription opioids unless the dispenser provides a personal use pharmaceutical disposal system to the ultimate user at no cost; defining a "personal use pharmaceutical disposal system" as a portable product designed to allow the ultimate user to deactivate the prescribed opioid to a nonretrievable condition; and authorizing the Maryland Department of Health to provide personal use pharmaceutical disposal systems to certain pharmacies.
