Summary

Requiring the Carroll County Board of Education to hold a public hearing on a proposed annual school budget at least 30 days before submitting the budget to the County Commissioners of Carroll County under a specified provision of law; requiring the county board to publish notice of the time and place of the public hearing, maintain at least three complete copies of the proposed budget for inspection by the public, and provide copies of the proposed budget to specified newspapers and the county library; etc.
