Summary

Requiring each public institution of higher education to adopt a policy that authorizes a student to withdraw for extenuating circumstances of illness, injury, hospitalization, or mental health and wellness; and requiring the policy to include provisions for reimbursement to the student of any tuition and fees paid by the student for the semester during which the student withdraws if the circumstances inhibited the student's ability to acquire an education.
