Summary
Providing that the Joint Committee on Legislative Ethics may exempt a member of the General Assembly, a filed candidate for election to the General Assembly, or a member-elect of the General Assembly from the prohibition on receiving earned income from the Executive Branch or a unit of a political subdivision of the State if the work for which the income would be received is consistent with the individual's qualifications, based on a specified evaluation by the Joint Committee on Legislative Ethics.
