An Act Relative to a Unified Ballot.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 37 of chapter 53 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the third and fourth sentences and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:
If the party enrollment of the voter is not shown on the voting list, the voter shall be provided with a unified ballot containing the names of all candidates running for office.
SECTION 2. Said section 37 of said chapter 53, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out the third sentence of the second paragraph.
