An Act relative to the payment of restitution for vandalism.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 126A of chapter 266 of the General Laws, as added by Section 174 of Chapter 60 of the Acts of 1994, is hereby amended by adding at the end of the first paragraph the following new text:- The court shall order the convicted individual(s) to pay restitution to the victim owners of the real or personal property damaged as a result of the crime.
SECTION 2. Section 126B of Chapter 266 of the General Laws, as added by Section 174 of Chapter 60 of the Acts of 1994, is hereby amended by adding at the end of the first paragraph the following new text:- The court shall order the convicted individual(s) to pay restitution to the victim owners of the real or personal property damages as a result of the crime.
