An Act Relative to Octane Ratings.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 28A of chapter 98 of the Massachusetts General laws is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
“Regular” gasoline shall be defined to mean liquefied petroleum gasoline with an octane rating of 87. No one shall advertise and/or sell “regular” liquefied petroleum gasoline with an octane rating of more or less than 87.
