An Act relative to a retirement buy back from the Worcester County retirement system.



��������������� Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.� Notwithstanding chapter 32 of the General Laws or any other special or general law to the contrary, the Worcester County Retirement Board shall credit Mary T. O'Connell with the service she rendered between 1987 and 1993 as a member of the town of Brookfield Planning Board for the purpose of determining a retirement allowance pursuant to said chapter 32.  Eligibility for said service shall be conditioned upon payment to the Worcester County Retirement Board of sum equal to the amount which would have been paid into such fund during such period if such position had been compensated at the a rate of $2,500 per year, plus regular interest at the date of the payment.  Such repayment shall be made in one sum or in installments as the Worcester County Retirement Board shall prescribe.
