An Act to provide protection against sex offenders.
��������������� Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of section 178E of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the second sentence the following sentence:
Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, for purposes of notification every sex offender shall be classified as level 3 until the classification is finalized.
SECTION 2.� Subsection (a of said section 178H of said chapter 6, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word �forth� in line 12, the following words:-
