An Act relative to the automated emergency alert system.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 18B of chapter 6A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-
(i) The board shall promulgate rules and regulations to develop, implement and administer an automated emergency alert system to be utilized by all kindergarten, grammar, elementary, middle school, high school, universities and health care facilities by which the emergency contract person be notified by an automated system in the event of an emergency.
