An Act relative to abandoned property.

                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

            SECTION 1. Section 12 (a) of chapter 200A of the general laws as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after the word “treasurer” in line 1 the following:— or his agents conducting an examination in accordance with  terms and conditions set by the treasurer and deemed to be in the best interest of the Commonwealth.
