An Act relative to requiring applicants for a drivers license to complete drivers education classes.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.    Section 8 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 official edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word  “section” in line 9 of paragraph one, the following:— any new applicant shall have successfully completed ten (10) hours of drivers education classroom instruction and ten (10) hours of road instruction  by a certified  driver’s education  school or association.
