An Act Relative to the Safety Inspection of the Long Island Bridge in the City of Boston.
��������������� Be it
enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled,
and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Massachusetts Highway Department, Bridge Inspection Unit, shall perform a safety inspection of the Long Island Bridge within the City of Boston, connecting Moon Island and Long Island.�
SECTION 2. If the bridge is deemed unsafe, the Massachusetts Highway Department is instructed to implement an alternate, economically feasible, means for transportation via water shuttle/barge access to Long Island within 90 days of inspection.���
