An Act relative to sales tax exemption for disabled veterans, police officers, and firefighters.



                Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 64H of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the two following paragraphs:—

(ww) Sales of new and used automobiles purchased by any person who is a disabled veteran.

 

(xx) Sales of new and used automobiles purchased by any disabled police officer or firemen who has been injured in the line of duty and as a result of such injury has become disabled.
