An Act relative to a junior operator seat belt requirement.
��������������� Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
����������� Section 8, subsection (e) of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding after the fifth paragraph,� the following paragraph:-
A person holding a junior operator�s license who operates a motor vehicle without a seat belt shall be subject to a fine of twenty-five dollars. This provision shall be enforced by law enforcement agencies and the operator may be stopped even if there is no other violation of motor vehicle laws or any other offense.
