An Act relative to safety in mercantile establishments.
��������������� Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
����������� Chapter 149 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 12 of the following section:-
Section 127 A.� Any metal display hooks in retail mercantile establishments placed lower than 4 feet from the floor must have an item pricing scan fixture attached to the end of each hook. �A violation of this section shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.
