An Act relative to application for the use of mace.



��������������� Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Subsection (10) of section 129B of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is herby amended by adding the following sentence:-

 

Any person over the age of 60 shall be exempt from the requirement of paying an original fee or renewal fee for a firearm identification card which is used solely for the purchase and possession of chemical mace, pepper spray or other similarly propelled liquid, gas powder designed to temporarily incapacitate.
