An Act for an amendment to the constitution relative to the
retirement of judges.
��������������� Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION I.� Article 1 of Part 2, chapter 3 of the constitution is hereby amended by striking 2���� the words: "that upon attaining seventy years of age said judges shall be retired."� and
��� inserting� in place thereof the words:� "that upon attaining seventy-six years of age said
��� judges shall be retired."������
