An Act relative to group health insurance for dependent children of
deceased members.
��������������� Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
����������� Chapter 32B of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-
SECTION 9J.� If a member or subscriber to the group health insurance plan dies leaving dependents as defined in section 2 of Chapter 32B, such dependents shall remain eligible for the continuation of group coverage, notwithstanding the marital status of the member or subscriber.
