Summary

Amend KRS 156.153 to define "danger zone"; direct the Department of Education to consider requiring the installation of school bus sensors and interior cameras on new school buses purchased on or after July 1, 2024; direct the Department of Education to promulgate administrative regulations; require the Department of Education to report on the availability and effectiveness of school bus sensors to the Interim Joint Committee on Education by June 30, 2024; amend KRS 189.540 to conform; amend KRS 281.635 to encourage cities to install safety sensors in city buses; establish the short title of Ally's Law.
