Summary

Create a new section of Subtitle 12 of KRS Chapter 304 to require insurers that fail to timely pay claims for reimbursement of health care services to pay interest and be subject to liability for any damages caused by the delay in payment; amend KRS 304.12-235 and KRS 304.39-210 to conform; amend KRS 304.39-241 to allow the assignment of certain loss claims for medical expense under the Motor Vehicle Reparations Act; EFFECTIVE January 1, 2019.
