Summary

Create a new section of KRS Chapter 132 to exempt motor vehicles from state property tax and exempt a portion of the 2022 property taxes that are greater than the taxes calculated based on the motor vehicle's 2021 standard value and property tax rates; amend KRS 134.805, 186.020, 186A.035, and 235.066 to conform; apply to motor vehicles on or after January 1, 2022; EMERGENCY.
