Summary

Amend various sections of KRS Chapter 315 to specify that the requirements for licensure reciprocity with contiguous states, including but not limited to the requirement for a physical location, be substantially similar to Kentucky's requirements; allow an operator from a state that does not have licensure requirements to indicate by affidavit that he or she understands and will follow Kentucky laws, and that the contiguous state grants the same privileges to Kentucky providers; require that the two representatives of the home medical equipment and services profession serving on the advisory board be licensed under KRS 315.514; exempt specialized equipment providers from licensure reciprocity if Kentucky does not provide that equipment.
