A HOUSE RESOLUTION to honor Representative
Michael White on his retirement from the Indiana House of
Representatives.
Whereas, Representative Michael White has represented
the citizens of House District 34 at the Statehouse since
December 29, 2011;
Whereas, Representative White was elected to serve out the
remainder of former Rep. Dennis Tyler's term when he left the
House to assume his post as Mayor of the city of Muncie; and,
Whereas, Representative White has long been involved in
his community as a small business owner and activist in the
Muncie area, having served in the past as the President of the
Delaware County Election Board: Therefore,
SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives thanks Representative Michael White for his dedicated and honorable service to his constituency and to the state of Indiana, and wishes him happiness and contentment in his retirement.
SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a copy of this resolution to Representative White and his family.
