A RESOLUTION honoring those who have served as
legislative interns for the Indiana House of Representatives
during the First Regular Session of the 117th Indiana General
Assembly.
Whereas, The following have served as legislative interns for the Republican Caucus of the House of Representatives during the First Regular Session of the 117th Indiana General Assembly: Casey Arqawi, Will Baldwin, Katie Beck, Jeffrey Cummins, Eric Doyle, Aurora Dreyling, Jacob Egan, Brian Fecteau, Daniel Fleming, Matthew Gentry, Alyse Giannini, Antonio Gigliotti, Philip Gretter, Melissa Hannebaum, Tom Havens, Rebecca Helmke, Ryan Jackson, Joe Jacoby, Blake A. Jones, Emily Kirkpatrick, Jenna Knepper, Jacob Lane, Vinnie Lopes, Aaron Minnich, Danielle Minton, Spencer Morris,
Joshua Orem, Brian Perry, Dustin Renner, Aurie Swartz,
Ayisha Tahir, David Tite, and Jay Wood;
Whereas, The following have served as legislative interns
for the Democrat Caucus of the House of Representatives
during the First Regular Session the 117th Indiana General
Assembly: Mehdi Ayari, DeAnna Beckner, James Freeman,
Jason Fricke, Kelly Funk, Mark Hamlin, Brandon Herget,
Jessica Hilbrich, Alicia Hrachovec, Lindsay Pinnick, Raeann
Potasnik, Fady Qaddoura, Cortnye Stone, and Melissa Wagner;
Whereas, The work of the legislative interns is vital to the
success of each session of the Indiana General Assembly;
Whereas, The members of the House of Representatives
express their gratitude to those individuals who have
participated in the valuable experience of both the Republican
and Democrat internship programs;
Whereas, The legislative interns serving in 2011 represent
the best and brightest future leaders of Indiana;
Whereas, Many past legislative interns have gone on to
achieve significant personal, academic, political, and
professional goals; and
Whereas, The 2011 legislative intern class contains
outstanding young leaders who will make a very positive
contribution to Indiana in the years to come: Therefore,
SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives recognizes the important contributions of the individuals who serve as legislative interns with the House of Representatives during the First Regular Session of the 117th Indiana General Assembly.
SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit copies of this resolution to each legislative intern.
