Bill Title: State funding of certain trials of police officers. Establishes the special prosecution fund (fund) to reimburse a county for expenses incurred in the appointment of a special prosecutor to prosecute a law enforcement officer who is alleged to have unlawfully caused bodily injury to another person by discharging a firearm or using physical force. Establishes a procedure for the county auditor to seek reimbursement from the fund, and provides that the attorney general administers the fund and evaluates claims for reimbursement. Appropriates $200,000 to the fund.
