Bill Title: Grandparent visitation rights and adoption notice. Provides that a grandparent's right to seek visitation with a grandchild survives the grandchild's adoption by certain family members. (Current law provides that visitation rights of a grandparent survive a grandchild's adoption by certain family members.) Removes a provision that requires a grandparent to petition for visitation with a grandchild before the date a decree of adoption is entered. Removes the requirement that a grandparent be notified of a grandchild's pending adoption by a family member. Repeals a provision regarding the notice to a grandparent of a grandchild's pending adoption by a family member.
