Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Allows a rail carrier in Lake, DuPage, Kane, McHenry, Cook, or Will County to comply with railroad crossing brush clearing requirements by removing from its right of way at each railroad-highway grade crossing that has electrified flashing lights, bells, and gates any brush, shrubbery, and trees for a distance of not less than 15 feet on each side of the center line of each track and not less than 500 feet in either direction from the near edge of the existing roadway surface from each grade crossing. Effective immediately.
