Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Removes language providing that a person is not eligible to take the oath of office for a municipal office if that person has been convicted of certain crimes. Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that a person convicted of a felony while he or she was serving as a public official is ineligible to hold public office at any time after his or her conviction, except in specified circumstances.
