Bill Title: Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the court shall (rather than may) sentence the defendant to a term of natural life imprisonment when the death penalty is not imposed if the defendant is found guilty of first degree murder and the murder was accompanied by exceptionally brutal or heinous behavior indicative of wanton cruelty.
