2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Christine Crushella "Chris" | ||||||
4 | Radford-Eastern, who passed away on October 14, 2016; and

5 | WHEREAS, Christine Radford-Eastern was born in St. Louis, | ||||||
6 | Missouri to Johnnie Sr. and Jacqueline
Cotton Radford on | ||||||
7 | October 11, 1970;
she grew up in Parkside and graduated from | ||||||
8 | East St. Louis Senior High
School in 1988, where she was named | ||||||
9 | Homecoming Queen; she later
graduated from The Academy School | ||||||
10 | of Beauty Culture and became a licensed cosmetologist; she | ||||||
11 | married Robert "Bobby" Eastern III in
Sarasota, Florida on June | ||||||
12 | 8, 2012; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Christine Radford-Eastern was employed briefly | ||||||
14 | with the Casino Queen; she then worked at Diva 226 Salon; she | ||||||
15 | later moved to The Mainstreet Salon; in 2005, she became | ||||||
16 | co-owner and signature master stylist at
Jaqueline's Salon; she | ||||||
17 | became one of the premier designers of hair and a personal | ||||||
18 | stylist in the bi-state
area; and

19 | WHEREAS, Christine Radford-Eastern was baptized at her | ||||||
20 | home church, Power of Change Christian Church; and
| ||||||
21 | WHEREAS, Christine Radford-Eastern was preceded in death |
