| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Daniel Arthur Gallagher, who passed away | ||||||
| 4 | at the age of 72; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Daniel Gallagher retired from the Chicago Police | ||||||
| 6 | Department; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Daniel Gallagher was a proud supporter of the | ||||||
| 8 | Weber Alumni Association and Notre Dame College Prep; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Daniel Gallagher was the beloved husband of Donna | ||||||
| 10 | (Dexl); the devoted father of Colleen (James) Chipman, Patrick | ||||||
| 11 | CFD (Amy), Michael CPD (Emily), Shannon, Daniel Jr. CPD, James | ||||||
| 12 | CPD, and Matthew CPD (Erin); the loving grandfather of Jack, | ||||||
| 13 | Emmett, Emma, Ryan, Matthew, Dillon, and Danny; the dear | ||||||
| 14 | brother of James M.D. (Dorothy); and the dear brother-in-law, | ||||||
| 15 | uncle, and friend to many; therefore, be it

| 16 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 17 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 18 | Daniel Arthur Gallagher, and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
| 19 | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
