2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Kenneth A. Kinder of Bethalto, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on June 20, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was born in Golden Eagle to Albert | ||||||
6 | and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Baalman) Kinder on April 2, 1927; he | ||||||
7 | married Audrey Miller in Kampsville on August 14, 1951; he | ||||||
8 | served his country in the Merchant Marine and the United States | ||||||
9 | Army; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was a laborer for Local 218 of | ||||||
11 | Alton for 42 years, where he also served as Secretary | ||||||
12 | Treasurer; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was a member of Our Lady Queen of | ||||||
14 | Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder was preceded in death by his wife, | ||||||
16 | Audrey; his parents; and his brother, Harold (Buss) Kinder; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Kinder is survived by his son and | ||||||
18 | daughter-in-law, Garry and Gaylene (Gillson) Kinder; his | ||||||
19 | grandchildren and their spouses, Kyle and Kathryn Kinder, Erica | ||||||
20 | and Kris Petree, and Lindsay and Chris Loftus; his |

1 | great-grandchildren, Jackson, Gracyn, Boyd, Blythe, | ||||||
2 | Christopher, and Tanin; his siblings, Geraldine "Geri" Miller | ||||||
3 | and Norma Kendall; his half-sister, Helen Kinder Land; and | ||||||
4 | several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
7 | Kenneth A. Kinder, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
8 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
9 | further

10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
11 | presented to the family of Kenneth Kinder as an expression of | ||||||
