SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Russell H. LeBeau Sr. of Zion, who passed
4away on August 2, 2018; and
5 WHEREAS, Russell LeBeau was born in Massachusetts to
6Eleanor and Russell Joseph LeBeau on June 5, 1940; he married
7Veronica "Ronney" Suwe on August 23, 1969; and
8 WHEREAS, Russell LeBeau was a Civil Service Instructor at
9the Navy Electronics School at Great Lakes Naval Base; he
10served in the United States Air Force, enlisting in the Air
11Force National Guard for 20 years, and five years in the Army
12National Guard; and
13 WHEREAS, Russell LeBeau was a member of Our Lady of
14Humility Church, The Knights of Columbus, and the American
15Legion; he participated in Street Scenes at Carmel High School
16for 35 years; he was a past member of several choruses and
17choirs, including the Gerry Traxler Chorus and Barbershop
18Choruses; he was also a member of the Sportscar Club and was
19active for many years in the Boy Scouts; and
20 WHEREAS, Russell LeBeau was preceded in death by his
21parents and his sister, Patricia Langer McDonough; and

1 WHEREAS, Russell LeBeau is survived by his wife of 49
2years, Veronica; his daughters, Rachelle Manieri, Renee
3(Brian) LeBeau Worwa, Roxanne (Dan) Otterbacher, Rita LeBeau,
4and Diana Fischbach; his son, Russell (Diane) H. LeBeau Jr.;
5his brother, Ernest "Sonny" LeBeau; his grandchildren, Lukas,
6Matthias, Nanet, and Katie Manieri, Tyler and Veronica Worwa,
7Jerred and Nicolette Otterbacher, Courtney Tekampe, Trey,
8Hunter, and Chase LeBeau, Jacy Wilson, Dalila LeBeau, and T.J.
9Quill; numerous nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and
10great-nephews; and countless friends; therefore, be it
11 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Russell H. LeBeau Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to
14his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
15further
16 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Russell LeBeau as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
