2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Betty Dolores Allred of Alton, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on March 8, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Betty Allred was born in Alton to Edward Louis and | ||||||
6 | Helen (Foval) Leady on May 16, 1927; she married Donald B. | ||||||
7 | Allred at St. Patrick Church in Alton on June 18, 1949; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Betty Allred was a homemaker; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Betty Allred was a member of St. Patrick Parish | ||||||
10 | and then St. Ambrose Parish; she was a member of the Mothers | ||||||
11 | Club at St. Patrick; she enjoyed watching birds outside her | ||||||
12 | window and spending time with her family; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Betty Allred was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
14 | Donald, and her parents; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Betty Allred is survived by her three children, | ||||||
16 | Donna (Bob) Konneker, Bruce (Ann) Allred, and Joseph (Carolyn) | ||||||
17 | Allred; her five grandchildren, Emily Allred, Andrea Allred, | ||||||
18 | Joseph Konneker, Jesse Konneker, and Brent Allred; and her two | ||||||
19 | great-grandchildren, Marleigh Konneker and Michael Allred; | ||||||

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Betty Dolores Allred, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
5 | further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Betty Allred as an expression of our | ||||||
8 | deepest sympathy.
