2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Juanita L. Kohl of Oak Park, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on July 27, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl was born in Chicago on October 19, | ||||||
6 | 1917 to Lewis and Hazel Morrison; she graduated from Ruggles | ||||||
7 | Elementary School and Calumet High School; she received her | ||||||
8 | associate's degree from Morgan Park Junior College; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl enjoyed reading and crossword | ||||||
10 | puzzles; she was a former member of the St. Bernardine Women's | ||||||
11 | Club; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl was preceded in death by her son, | ||||||
13 | Kevin Kohl; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl is survived by her husband of 74 | ||||||
15 | years, Chester; her children, Denise (Jerome) Sechser, Raymond | ||||||
16 | (Harpal), Therese (James) Juliano, and Marguerite (Dr. | ||||||
17 | Randall) Miller; her grandchildren, Dr. Todd (Cara), Erik | ||||||
18 | Sechser, Jill Sechser, Jamie Juliano, Jeffrey (Jenny) Juliano, | ||||||
19 | Dr. Megan (Dr. Christopher) Reis, and Matthew (Emily) Miller; | ||||||
20 | and her 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Juanita L. Kohl, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
