SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Juanita L. Kohl of Oak Park, who passed
4away on July 27, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl was born in Chicago on October 19,
61917 to Lewis and Hazel Morrison; she graduated from Ruggles
7Elementary School and Calumet High School; she received her
8associate's degree from Morgan Park Junior College; and
9 WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl enjoyed reading and crossword
10puzzles; she was a former member of the St. Bernardine Women's
11Club; and
12 WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl was preceded in death by her son,
13Kevin Kohl; and
14 WHEREAS, Juanita Kohl is survived by her husband of 74
15years, Chester; her children, Denise (Jerome) Sechser, Raymond
16(Harpal), Therese (James) Juliano, and Marguerite (Dr.
17Randall) Miller; her grandchildren, Dr. Todd (Cara), Erik
18Sechser, Jill Sechser, Jamie Juliano, Jeffrey (Jenny) Juliano,
19Dr. Megan (Dr. Christopher) Reis, and Matthew (Emily) Miller;
20and her 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

1 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Juanita L. Kohl, and extend our sincere condolences to her
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Juanita Kohl as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
