SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Bonnie G. Rossell (nee Gibbs) of Oak
4Park, who passed away on May 24, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell was born on March 12, 1947; she was
6married for 48 years to Al Rossell, a local realtor and owner
7of Jack Carpenter Realty; and
8 WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell worked as an appraiser and her
9specialty was appraising homes on the National Register of
10Historic Places; she had an active role in both the Chicago and
11national organizations of appraisers; and
12 WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell was active in many Oak Park
13organizations; she served on the board of the Hephzibah
14Children's Association; and
15 WHEREAS, Bonnie Rossell is survived by her husband, Al; her
16children, Reid (Diana Ditsch) and Lori (Anthony) Ebbole; her
17grandchildren, Alyssa and Evan and Raina and Niko; her sisters,
18Dorothea Napier and Susan (the late George) Stamm; her nieces
19and nephews; and her many friends; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Bonnie G. Rossell, and extend our sincere condolences to her
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

6presented to the family of Bonnie Rossell as an expression of
7our deepest sympathy.
