SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of Frank Villari, who passed away on
February 17, 2020 at the age of 88; and
WHEREAS, Frank Villari was born in Chicago on November 11,
1931; he attended St. Mel High School and later became a
longtime resident of Oak Park; and
WHEREAS, Frank Villari earned his bachelor's degree from
the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and
WHEREAS, Frank Villari served in the U.S. Army during the
Korean War; and
WHEREAS, Frank Villari was an engineer, researching and
developing plastics; he was granted multiple patents
throughout his career; and
WHEREAS, Frank Villari was preceded in death by his
daughter, Julianne Villari, and his siblings, Joseph Villari,
Genevieve Derose, and Julie Seitz; and
WHEREAS, Frank Villari is survived by his wife, Jean
Villari; his son, Frank Villari; and his cherished

grandchildren, Emma and Francesca Villari; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
Frank Villari and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That that a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of Frank Villari as an expression of
our deepest sympathy.
