| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of James Roy Hilyard of Bunker Hill, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 2, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, James Hilyard was born on March 17, 1934 in Bunker | ||||||
| 6 | Hill; his parents were Roy A. Hilyard and Clara J. (nee Marko) | ||||||
| 7 | Hilyard; he married Margaret Ann "Peggy" (nee Noel) Hilyard on | ||||||
| 8 | May 30, 1953 in Bunker Hill; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, James Hilyard was a livestock farmer; he was also | ||||||
| 10 | a member of the Bunker Hill Lions Club, the United Methodist | ||||||
| 11 | Church of Bunker Hill, the Masonic Lodge, and the Kuntry Kuzins | ||||||
| 12 | Square Dance Club; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, James Hilyard enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, | ||||||
| 14 | spending time with his family and friends, and John Deere | ||||||
| 15 | tractors; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, James Hilyard was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 17 | parents; his wife, Margaret; his grandchildren, Jon Hilyard and | ||||||
| 18 | Josh Hilyard; and his brother, Marvin Hilyard; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, James Hilyard is survived by his children, Mary | ||||||
| 20 | Ann (Terry) Hicks and Dennis Hilyard; his grandchildren, Matt | ||||||

| 1 | (Lori) Hilyard, Jasen Hilyard, Jake Hilyard, Ashley (Michael) | ||||||
| 2 | Archibee-Hadley, and Aaron Archibee; and his | ||||||
| 3 | great-grandchildren, Maddy Hilyard, Masen Hilyard, Jeremiah | ||||||
| 4 | Hilyard, Jalena Hilyard, and Declan Hadley; therefore, be it

| 5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 7 | family and friends, mourn the passing of James Roy Hilyard; and | ||||||
