SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph J. Deutsch of McHenry, who passed
4away on September 10, 2014; and
5 WHEREAS, Joseph Deutsch was born on August 29, 1957 in
6Erie, Pennsylvania; his parents were Charles and Joyce (nee
7Clup) Deutsch; he married Rebecca Chesko on April 19, 1978 in
8Duron, Pennsylvania; and
9 WHEREAS, Joseph Deutsch served his country as a member of
10the United States Marine Corps; and
11 WHEREAS, Joseph Deutsch was a big Chicago sports fan who
12enjoyed cooking and watching food shows; he loved life and had
13great pride in his 6 grandchildren; and
14 WHEREAS, Joseph Deutsch was preceded in death by his
15parents; an aunt, Ann; and his beloved pets, Teddy, Rosie, and
16Cuddles; and
17 WHEREAS, Joseph Deutsch is survived by his wife of 36
18years; 2 children, Christina (Richard) Hernandez and Amy Lynn
19(Jeremy) Davis; 6 grandchildren, Richie, Courtney, Jocelyn,
20Emily, Gabriel, and Elijah; 5 brothers and sisters, Charles

1Deutsch, Rick (Lynn) Deutsch, Denise (Sonny) Sissiam, Marie
2(Dean) Barner and Kelly (Rob) Faulk; and many nieces and
3nephews; therefore, be it
4 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
6family and friends, mourn the passing of Joseph J. Deutsch; and
7be it further
8 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Joseph Deutsch as an expression of
10our sympathy.
