1 | SENATE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Michael E. Bowser of Moline, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on February 27, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Michael Bowser was born in Rock Island to Robert | ||||||
6 | E. and Beverly J. (Rosenbaum) Bowser on October 2, 1952; he was | ||||||
7 | a veteran and proudly served his country in the United States | ||||||
8 | Army in Germany and Korea for over 12 years; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Michael Bowser worked as a police officer at the | ||||||
10 | Rock Island Arsenal and later at the metropolitan airport; he | ||||||
11 | retired in 2010; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Michael Bowser received many awards, medals, and | ||||||
13 | recognitions for his service during his career; he was also a | ||||||
14 | member of the American Legion of Bloomington; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Michael Bowser was preceded in death by his | ||||||
16 | parents; his wife; and his children; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Michael Bowser is survived by his brothers; his | ||||||
18 | sister; and his many nieces and nephews; there is also a great | ||||||
19 | love for Mikhael, Lena, and Sean, along with many other family | ||||||
20 | members and there friends; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Michael E. Bowser and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
5 | further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Michael Bowser as an expression of | ||||||
8 | our deepest sympathy.
