SENATE RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
learn of the death of William Joseph Green of Lake Forest, who
passed away on November 28, 2015; and
WHEREAS, William Green proudly served in the United States
Armed Forces during the Vietnam War; and
WHEREAS, William Green was a graduate of the University of
Notre Dame's School of Architecture and received a Master of
Business Administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of
Management; and
WHEREAS, As a licensed architect, William Green designed
and supervised residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
throughout the Midwest; he also worked for 25 years as a
project architect with the General Services Administration;
and
WHEREAS, William Green was preceded in death by his son,
Thomas Joseph Green; and
WHEREAS, William Green is survived by his wife of 39 years,
Joanne Green; his sons, Daniel (Melinda) and Kevin (Kimberly);
and his cherished granddaughter, Ella; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
family and friends, mourn the passing of William Joseph Green;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
presented to the family of William Green as an expression of
our sympathy.
