2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Sandra "Sandy" K. Terlikowski of | ||||||
4 | Woodstock, who passed away on July 10, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski was born in Woodstock on | ||||||
6 | February 2, 1953 to Joyce and Glen Fringer; she attended | ||||||
7 | Woodstock schools, and married Norbert Daniel Terlikowski | ||||||
8 | "Uncle Dan"; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski and her husband opened Uncle | ||||||
10 | Dan's Restaurant on the Woodstock Square, which remained a | ||||||
11 | popular mainstay of the square from 1977 to 1994; its motto, | ||||||
12 | "N.H.A.B.D." (Never Had a Bad Day), was reflective in the bond | ||||||
13 | that formed between Sandy, her employees, and the customers - a | ||||||
14 | bond which lasted long after the restaurant closed; and

15 | WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski was an avid reader and an | ||||||
16 | enthusiastic traveler, traveling to Europe and Jamaica; she | ||||||
17 | enjoyed camping with family and friends and spending time with | ||||||
18 | her nieces and nephews; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Sandra Terlikowski was preceded in death by her | ||||||
20 | husband Dan; mother Joyce; brother Jerry Fringer; | ||||||
21 | sister-in-law Sandy Fringer; and her adored dogs, Inky and Max; |

2 | WHEREAS, Sandy Terlikowski is survived by her father Glen; | ||||||
3 | sister Cindy (Chris); brother Ron; sister-in-law Luanne | ||||||
4 | Fringer; step-children Dan, Diane, and Jack; and nieces and | ||||||
5 | nephews Megan, Jenelle, Kevin, Patrick, Nathaniel, and Josh; | ||||||
6 | therefore, be it

7 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
8 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
9 | Sandra "Sandy" K. Terlikowski, and extend our sincere | ||||||
10 | condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
11 | her; and be it further

12 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
13 | presented to the family of Sandra Terlikowski as an expression | ||||||
14 | of our deepest sympathy.
