2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of James Phillip "Jim" Schultz of Zion, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on June 1, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Jim Schultz was born on February 14, 1949 and grew | ||||||
6 | up in North Chicago; he attended Holy Rosary Grade School, | ||||||
7 | North Chicago High School, and the College of Lake County; he | ||||||
8 | served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Jim Schultz was a dedicated Support Services | ||||||
10 | employee for Lake County for 19 years; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Jim Schultz was an avid music lover, and enjoyed | ||||||
12 | caring for his pets Chloe, Isabel, and Abby; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Jim Schultz was preceded in death by his parents, | ||||||
14 | Andrew and Mary Schultz, and by his sisters, Pearl Scarbalis | ||||||
15 | and Dorothy Smith; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Jim Schultz is survived by his fiancee, Connie | ||||||
17 | Horner; sister, Elizabeth (Walter) Sczygielski; | ||||||
18 | brother-in-law, Richard Smith; and many nieces and nephews; | ||||||
19 | therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | James Phillip "Jim" Schultz, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
4 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
5 | it further
