2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Ronald L. Pacha of Bloomington, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on January 16, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was born in Brighton, Iowa to Leonard | ||||||
6 | and Margaret Pauly Pacha on September 26, 1940; he married | ||||||
7 | Janice R. Deutsch in Pleasant Plain, Iowa on July 1, 1961; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Ron Pacha worked at Citizens Savings and Loan; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic | ||||||
10 | Church in Bloomington, where he served on the parish council | ||||||
11 | and as a cantor; he was a fourth degree member of the Knights | ||||||
12 | of Columbus; he was a member of the Normal Chamber of Commerce, | ||||||
13 | Normal Rotary Club, Young Men's Club and Optimist Club and was | ||||||
14 | a Trustee for Normal Township; he was an avid fan of the | ||||||
15 | Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears; in his retirement, he | ||||||
16 | enjoyed spending time with his family and attending their | ||||||
17 | activities and events; and

18 | WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
19 | and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Ron Pacha is survived by his wife, Janice; his |

1 | children, Terri (David) Ashley, Ken (Christie) Pacha; and | ||||||
2 | Angela (David) Auth; his grandchildren, Zachary (Jilliann) | ||||||
3 | Pacha, Hilary Pacha, Christopher (Amanda) Ashley, Joshua | ||||||
4 | (Alexis Bealer) Ashley, Allyson (fiance, Joey Clanton) Auth, | ||||||
5 | and Brandon Auth; his great-grandchildren, Austin and Avery | ||||||
6 | Pacha and Elijah Pacha; his other family, Lisa Pacha-Hardesty; | ||||||
7 | and his nine brothers and sisters; therefore, be it

8 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
9 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
10 | Ronald L. Pacha and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
11 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
12 | further

13 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
