| ||||||
2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Donald F. Schweska of Moline, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on August 2, 2022; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Donald Schweska was born to Fred and Pearl | ||||||
6 | Schweska in Springfield on September 16, 1938; he married | ||||||
7 | Judith Lyons Yeager in Rock Island on April 2, 1971; he served | ||||||
8 | as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and was very proud of | ||||||
9 | being a Marine; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Donald Schweska retired as a printer pressman | ||||||
11 | from Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, Donald Schweska was a member of many bowling | ||||||
13 | leagues and served as secretary in the Milan Classic League; | ||||||
14 | he bowled in the American Bowling Congress Championship and | ||||||
15 | was inducted into the Greater Rock Island County USBC Hall of | ||||||
16 | Fame; and

17 | WHEREAS, Donald Schweska is survived by his wife, Judith | ||||||
18 | "Judie"; his children, Thomas Schweska, Susan Lang, Michael | ||||||
19 | Schweska, John Schweska, William "Bart" (Maria) Yeager, and | ||||||
20 | Bradley (Peggy) Yeager; his 18 grandchildren; and his 19 | ||||||
21 | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | ||||||
2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Donald F. Schweska and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
5 | further
| ||||||
6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
7 | presented to the family of Donald Schweska as an expression of | ||||||
8 | our deepest sympathy.
