2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | ||||||
3 | to learn of the death of Rose Tennery "Rosie" Bryan of Beecher | ||||||
4 | City, who passed away on September 29, 2023; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Rosie Bryan was born to Kenneth Bryan and Macy | ||||||
6 | Reed in Effingham on September 23, 2016; she was a first grader | ||||||
7 | at Beecher City Grade School; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Rosie Bryan enjoyed helping cook supper and | ||||||
9 | making art, and she was very excited about all the art supplies | ||||||
10 | she had received on her recent birthday; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Rosie Bryan loved music, dancing, performing, and | ||||||
12 | entertaining; she had recently joined a dance class, and she | ||||||
13 | loved practicing her moves at all hours of the day; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Rosie Bryan loved spending time with her extended | ||||||
15 | family, cousins, and grandparents, and she was always ready to | ||||||
16 | have a "party", or cookout, with family; she also enjoyed | ||||||
17 | taking care of her infant cousins; and

18 | WHEREAS, Rosie Bryan was her mother's little shadow, | ||||||
19 | following her everywhere and always wanting to sit on her | ||||||
20 | mother's lap or beside her; and

1 | WHEREAS, More than anything, Rosie Bryan adored her older | ||||||
2 | brother, Walker; and
| ||||||
3 | WHEREAS, Rosie Bryan will be remembered for her energetic | ||||||
4 | and joyful nature, her humor, and being the life of the party; | ||||||
5 | and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Rosie Bryan was preceded in death by her father | ||||||
7 | and her brother, Walker Bryan; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, At the time of her passing, Rosie Bryan was | ||||||
9 | survived by her mother; her maternal grandparents, Rachel Reed | ||||||
10 | and Mark Reed; her paternal grandparents, Gerald and Janice | ||||||
11 | Bryan McNeely; her maternal great-grandmother, Jeanie Doty; | ||||||
12 | her aunts, Mariah Reed, Camie (Daniel) Wilke, Beau Reed, and | ||||||
13 | Honora Reed; her cousins, Denver, Paloma, Manny, and Audie; | ||||||
14 | and many extended family members; therefore, be it

15 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL | ||||||
16 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
17 | Rose Tennery "Rosie" Bryan and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
18 | to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be | ||||||
