| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of George W. Rose, Jr. of Woodstock, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on February 19, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. was born on February 14, 1927 in | ||||||
| 6 | Clear Lake, Iowa; his parents were George and Mary (nee Holmes) | ||||||
| 7 | Rose; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. graduated from Mason City High | ||||||
| 9 | School in 1947; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. was a resident of Woodstock for | ||||||
| 11 | over 50 years; he served the McHenry County area for years as a | ||||||
| 12 | technician for the Dairy Herd Improvement Association; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 14 | parents; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. is survived by his children, | ||||||
| 16 | Cynthia Rose Lubecke, Dennis Lubecke, Elizabeth Rose Kamp, Dan | ||||||
| 17 | Kamp, Janaan Rose, and Melodee Singh; his grandchildren, | ||||||
| 18 | Clinton Selzer and Serena Selzer (Robert) Montgomery; his | ||||||
| 19 | great-grandchildren, RJ Montgomery and Sierra Rose Montgomery; | ||||||
| 20 | and his cousins, Maxine Eldridge, Carolyn Albers, and Lois | ||||||

| 2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 4 | family and friends, mourn the passing of George W. Rose, Jr.; | ||||||
| 5 | and be it further
