2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of John Robert "Bunzo" Fraser of Gillespie, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on February 4, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, John Fraser was born in Carlinville on April 21, | ||||||
6 | 1927 to Morrison Fraser and Christina (nee Horn) Fraser Guild; | ||||||
7 | he married Clara Joyce Rademacher; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, John Fraser retired from Budweiser as a driver and | ||||||
9 | salesman; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, John Fraser served in the United States Navy | ||||||
11 | during World War II; he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign | ||||||
12 | Wars Post #4547 of Gillespie and the American Legion; he was a | ||||||
13 | high school basketball official for 50 years and an avid St. | ||||||
14 | Louis Cardinals fan; and

15 | WHEREAS, John Fraser was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
16 | and by his sisters, Jessie Bazzarone and Marie Lindley; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, John Fraser is survived by his wife, Clara Joyce | ||||||
18 | Fraser; his daughter, Barbara Ann (Curt) Albertin; his son, | ||||||
19 | Morrison Love (Barbara Kay) Fraser; his grandchildren, Lauren | ||||||
20 | Albertin, Dalton Albertin, Stuart Fraser, and Mason Fraser; and |

1 | his sister, Christina Stewart; therefore, be it

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | John Robert "Bunzo" Fraser, and extend our sincere condolences | ||||||
5 | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | ||||||
6 | it further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
