SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Melinda "Mindy" Epps of Bethalto, who
4passed away on February 26, 2022; and
5 WHEREAS, Mindy Epps was born in Alton on January 9, 1977;
6she married Tom Epps on November 27, 1999; and
7 WHEREAS, Mindy Epps worked for Graybar Electric for the
8last 23 years; and
9 WHEREAS, Mindy Epps loved spending time with family,
10friends, and her dogs; she enjoyed solving trivia and murder
11mysteries, doing makeup, and taking trips; and
12 WHEREAS, Mindy Epps was preceded in death by her father,
13Jim Jones; her mother, Linda (Palmer) Jones; and her
14father-in-law, Wayne Epps; and
15 WHEREAS, Mindy Epps is survived by her husband, Tom Epps;
16her sister, Melissa (Matt) Abromovich; her mother-in-law,
17Christina Epps; her brothers-in-law, Mike (Donna) Epps, Andy
18(Missy) Epps, and Tim (Jennifer) Epps; her sister-in-law,
19Sandy Jones; her several nieces and nephews; her numerous
20friends; and her two dogs, Lulu and Frankie; therefore, be it

2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
